Ken, whose real name is Kentin, seems very much in love and doesn't try to hide it. He's very nice and helpful, but he is clingy.

Ken is a friend of Your Candy from their past school and transfered to Sweet Amoris to be with Your Candy. In Episode 3 of My Candy Love, it is shown that Ken's father is in the military. He comes to transfer Ken out, and enrolls him into a military bootcamp instead of Sweet Amoris. Amber is revealed to have a part in causing Ken to change schools.

Appearance

For the first three episodes, Ken is a very distinctive looking character and has the appearance of the steriotypical nerd of the game. He was one of the few characters who weren't redrawn in 2011, and so his art style is noticably different than the rest of the characters. Ken wears a dark green sweater that has a dark red stripe going across the upper torso section of it. He wears dark navy blue jeans and has a calculator attached to his left hip. One of his most noticable accessories are his large swirly glasses that hide his eyes. His hair is brown and is in the style of a bowl cut and he has freckles across his cheeks and nose.

ChinoMiko confermed several more details about Ken to the MCL Ken Fan Club's leader, Puku. She confirmed that Ken's height is 5'5" (165 cm), which is much taller than most players originally thought. He weighs 120 pounds (54 kg) and his blood type is O positive. His actual birthday was also mention by ChinoMiko and she confirmed his birthday is March 6th.

Ken's pose is always with his arms open to Your Candy, as if preparing for a hug. He shows the most variety of facial emotions spanning from rivers of tears coming from under his glasses to large hearts showing up on his glasses. He has four expressions in total.

Personality

Ken has a sweet and caring personality. He's in love with the player immediately and has no trouble showing his affection. Too many, he is seen as overly clingy and annoying. To others, however, he is seen as extremely sweet and adorable. Ken only has good intentions and means well. Ken is the easiest guy in the game to please and to raise his lov'o'meter.

Ken is seen to not be able to defend himself against bullies and is often times harrassed by Amber because of this. He's very sensitive about this and tends to go to Your Candy whenever he runs into trouble. It's easy for Your Candy to raise his spirits, but Your Candy can also choose to scold Ken for his inability to defend himself, which generally causes Ken to become heart broken. Besides bullies, however, Ken is a happy person who is normally very positive. He is always willing to help Your Candy out whenever he can.

Friends and Family

Ken is very easy to get along with and tries to make friends whenever possible. When Your Candy first starts at Sweet Amoris, Ken shows up and explains how he transferred schools to stay with them. Although Ken is in love with Your Candy, he is also a good friend who will do anything to try and make the player happy.

Ken is friends with several other students at Sweet Amoris, as well. He seems to have no problem speaking with Nathaniel and he was in the gardening club with Jade before he enrolled in military school. Most notably is his friendship with Iris. From the start of the game, Iris takes Your Candy and Ken under her wing and shows them around the school. Ken and Iris become close friends throughout the first three episodes of the game until Ken has to leave. In episode 7, at Melody's slumber party, it's revealed Iris keeps in contact with Ken while he's in military school, although Your Candy doesn't have the option to contact Ken like she does.

Although not much is known about the rest of Ken's family, he admits to having a father who is in the military. After being harrassed and bullied by Amber, his father is annoyed of Ken being "weak" and forces Ken to leave Sweet Amoris in order to be enrolled in a military school. Judging from this, Ken's father seems strict and has high expectations for his son. No other family members of Ken have been mentioned.

NATHANIEL

Nathaniel is a student attending Sweet Amoris High. He is the leader of the student body and is Amber's brother.

Appearance

He has short blonde hair and gold eyes. He wears a white shirt with a blue tie and brown pants. In his shirt pocket, he always carries two pens. He usually has a clipboard in his left hand.

Personality

Nathaniel is dependable and easy to get along with. He can seem insecure at times but seems to prefer confident, but still kind, girls. He likes girls who are serious. He's a major cat person and doesn't like Castiel too much. He's a bit uptight although he can be very kind and sweet as well. When speaking to him, don't be obnoxious and rude, but don't be too easy-going and laid back. He wants someone who is serious, reasonable, kind, and professional.

When he was young he was more of the bad boy which is hard to believe, and the reasons of his personality changes are still unknown yet. He used to bully Amber which created the no trust between Nathaniel and his parents, mostly his dad.

CASTIEL

Castiel is one of the students attending Sweet Amoris High. He is a member of the basketball club and is a member of a rock band along with Lysander. In Episode 2 of My Candy Love, it is revealed that Castiel is legally independent. His father is a pilot, while his mother works as a hostess. As a consquence, they are not home often, but they seem to love their jobs. It was revealed in episode 4 that Castiel smokes occasionally.

Appearance

He has shoulder length red hair (naturally black) with gray eyes. He wears a black jacket with a red shirt underneath, with a winged skull imprinted on it. He wears a silver necklace and black pants with a chain dangling. He usually has his arms folded. He is a little shorter than Lysander, at about 1.80m (5'10").

Personality

Castiel can be a bit hard to get along with at times. He plays electric guitar and is very sarcastic. He's a fan of rock, but doesn't want someone who claims to be too much into it, or it'll seem like they're trying too hard. Castiel likes girls who can stand up for themselves and take a joke. He doesn't like girls who are too rude, yet doesn't like girls who are too nice. He's a dog person and owns a Beauceron named Demon. Nathaniel and Castiel seem to share a rivalry, which is why Castiel does not like Nathaniel. He's prone to anger, but can be very romantic when given the chance. It takes certain people to get him blushing, but it's possible. He's in a band with Lysander. Castiel is not interested in girly-girl types like Amber or punk girls like Kim. He's misunderstood with his hard outer shell, but can be caring on the inside. He doesn't like it when someone could be hurt or in trouble.

Castiel used to be a kind hearted boy when he was young, he once fixed Amber's favorite doll and gave it to her. He said he only did it to stop her from crying because it annoyed him, but it's mostly because he doesn't like to see others in pain.

And for that reason, Amber fell in love with Castiel.

But Castiel ignored her feelings saying that girls fall in love over nothing.

History

Castiel and Lysander met each other about six months before the start of the story, and have been close friends ever since.

It had started when Castiel found Lysander's notebook and returned it to him soon after. They then discussed different topics and they found out they had a similar taste in music. So they decided to make music together. According to ChiNoMiko, Lysander was the reason Castiel had begun to play the guitar again, because he had stopped playing for some time.
